Accommodation

SAFECOM 1 offers a place for rest and relaxation as well as venues for people to work, conference, keep fit and stay in contact with their families.  The conference rooms allow people to meet and exchange ideas in a flexible and functional manner.  The offices provide offshore contractors a space to complete their work.  After or during a long shift, offshore personnel can walk right into the main deck coffee bar without changing, have a drink and relax.  They might then want to proceed to the gym or sauna areas.  Others might choose to watch a movie in the 75 man cinema.  Dedicated laundry staff are ready 24 hrs a day and the large galley serves 4 meals a day.  A prayer room is also available.

The quality accommodation is comprised of 140 cabins with 400 passenger berths, 20 single cabins (two with private dayrooms), 50 double cabins, and 70 four-person cabins.  SAFECOM 1's quality cabins are all en-suite.  Each cabin is fully air-conditioned for both cooling and heating and is outfitted with satellite TV, internet access, and phone service.  All cabins have independent bathroom and shower facilities, compliant with up to 15 days autonomy.
