B+H Offshore can provide a telescopic gangway as an option, which will be able to move in three dimensions with rapid connect and disconnect features.  The advantage of our DP AFDV is the vessel can maintain its position and the three dimensional movement of the gangway allows for reliable attachment to the offshore structure. The DP and three dimensional moving gangway act as a heave compensated link between the accommodation unit and offshore installation.  When weather becomes too severe, an alarm will sound and the telescopic gangway will automatically disconnect from the offshore rig to prevent injury and damage to equipment.
